how was your christmas?

did you celebrate jesus' birthday with your family?

this was my first christmas, and it was puurrrfect!

there weren't any gifts under the tree for me {sniff, i'm okay.  i understand that the budget didn't permit pets any presents this year}, but one of my owners did unwrap something wonderful-- an amazing white quilt, which she has so kindly offered to share with me, allowing me unlimited naps whenever i wish!  she even gave me a free photo session on top of it!

thanksgiving is coming up next week and i've been thinking about all the wonderful gifts god has given me in my life so far...

Administrative Assistant

in addition to my job as wrinkle manager with the business i work for, i've also been hired as the administrative assistant.  i pretty much help my boss oversee the inventory and make sure we have enough products in stock for the shop and upcoming craft shows.

Trip to the Vet

first, dad let me drive there.  i'm pretty good at it.  maybe by the time i'm 16 cats will be allowed to get licenses.

next, i chose the healthiest cat food i could find.

third, i got stuck with a needle.  no fun.  it hurt.  but i'm okay now.

and last, they put watery medicine in my ears to kill the mites.

back home i'm much better.  i like riding in h's hood.  it certainly beats wearing one myself!

hey there!  what are y'all up to tonight?
you wanna know what's going on at my house?  well, my owners are off watching a football game on the TV.  they like Alabama football- evidently that's the team known as champions because they've won so many games....but i really don't care.  and i'm just laying out relaxing after a busy saturday...

guess what?  this is my first autumn and so i've never experienced cooler weather before!  yes, it's pretty exciting, but also a bit of a shock and i can't decide if i like it or not.

to help me adapt to the lower temperatures better my owners gave me a cozy red sweatshirt to wear {picture coming soon} and i like it ok, but i think i like sitting by the fire better.  so that's what i'm enjoying this evening...

  ahhh...it's so cozy and relaxing!

really, y'all should come out to my place and try it out sometime!  it's wonderful!

Wrinkle Manager

i was recently hired as "wrinkle manager" for a local business that makes the prettiest aprons and towels and hairclips and paintings.  it really is an amazing place to work!  the other employees are simply darling, pouring so much time and love into me!  i think they consider me their pet, pampering me with the sweetest compliments and privileges anyone could ever receive!  all i have to do is oversee the ironers at work to make sure they are pressing every corner and crease.

sometimes i get so worn out and sleep on the job.  they tell me resting is ok, but that if i stay up and do my job efficiently, i'll get paid 18 kisses an hour!

I've never blogged before...most cats never do in their lifetime...but I'm a special kitty, deserving of every privilege- don't you agree?

So my family said I could give it a try {yay!}

I mostly intend to use this as a journal as I live out the coolest adventures any cat has ever had.  It should be fun!  I hope you have a blast following!
